Create an account on Dubai Municipality’s portal for the food establishment and the user and then access the DM Food Elite website.
Check your Eligibility
Provide the basic information and validate your eligibility for participation.
Food establishments must have received an ‘A’ Rating in food inspections since 2022.
Submit your application
After the eligibility check you can access the criteria table. For each criteria explain how you are adhering to best practice in your establishment. Upload any supporting evidence and then submit the application.
FOOD ELITE PROGRAM
As part of his vision for Dubai’s vision, the Director General of Dubai Municipality announced the DM Food Elite Program during the opening of the 17th Dubai International Food Safety Conference in 2023. The program will honor restaurants in Dubai that have consistently demonstrated leadership in food safety excellence combined with commitment to sustainability, nutrition and social responsibility.
ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA
DM Food Elite program will award food establishments in Dubai that have an exceptional track record in managing systems for food safety, nutrition, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Winners will be selected annually after an extensive evaluation process by independent assessors.
Registration and submission of information must be done through the web portal of DM Food Elite Program
Note: No other channel of submission will be accepted. All entries have to be completed before the 30th of June 2024.
Winners will be selected annually after an extensive evaluation process by independent assessors. This will include verification of credentials and certifications provided by the food business, remote and onsite assessment, and interviews.
DM Food Elite recognition will be bestowed upon restaurants from each of the following categories:
Category 1: Top three stand-alone casual and formal dining restaurants
Category 2: Top three restaurants that are a part of a hotel
Category 3: Top three Quick Service food outlets and Cafeteria
1.The food business must have an active trade license in Dubai
2.The food business must have received a “A” Food Safety Rating in the calendar years 2022, 2023 and 2024
3.The food business shall not have any standing critical or major violations from any regulatory inspections.
4.All evidences of compliance to regulations and standards must be verifiable with evidences such as certifications and reports.

Entry Registration: Registration of entries will be open until 30th of June 2024. All relevant information including evidences of certification must be completed within that date.
Assessment: Onsite and remote assessment for Stage 2 will be carried out from the 1st of July to the 30th of August 2024.
Finalists Presentation and Jury Evaluation: September 2024.
Winner Announcements and Recognition Ceremony: 21 October 2024
