FOOD ELITE PROGRAM
As part of his vision for Dubai’s vision, the Director General of Dubai Municipality announced the DM Food Elite Program during the opening of the 17th Dubai International Food Safety Conference in 2023. The program will honor restaurants in Dubai that have consistently demonstrated leadership in food safety excellence combined with commitment to sustainability, nutrition and social responsibility.
ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA
DM Food Elite program will award food establishments in Dubai that have an exceptional track record in managing systems for food safety, nutrition, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Dubai Municipality’s Food Elite Program will honor restaurants in Dubai that have consistently demonstrated leadership in food safety excellence combined with commitment to sustainability, nutrition and social responsibility.
Winners will be selected annually after an extensive evaluation process by independent assessors.
Registration and submission of information must be done through the web portal of DM Food Elite Program
Note: No other channel of submission will be accepted. All entries have to be completed before the 30 of August 2025.
Winners will be selected annually after an extensive evaluation process by independent assessors. This will include verification of credentials and certifications provided by the food business, remote and onsite assessment, and interviews.
DM Food Elite recognition will be bestowed upon restaurants from each of the following categories:
Category 1: Top three stand-alone casual and formal dining restaurants
Category 2: Top three restaurants that are a part of a hotel
Category 3: Top three Quick Service food outlets and Cafeteria
1.The food business must have an active trade license in Dubai
2.The food business must have received an “A” Food Safety Rating in the last food inspection.
3.The food business shall not have any standing critical or major violations from any regulatory inspections.
4.All evidences of compliance to regulations and standards must be verifiable with evidences such as certifications and reports.
5.First prize winners of the 2024 edition cannot participate.

Entry Registration: Registration of entries will be open until 30th of August 2025. All relevant information including evidences of certification must be completed within that date.
Assessment: Remote and onsite assessment will be carried out from September 1 – October 15, 2025. Appointments will be scheduled in advance for the assessments.
Winner Announcements and Recognition Ceremony: 17 November 2025
Winners who secured the first place in all categories cannot participate in season 2025. However, they can participate in season 2026.
