Stage 2
Evaluation

  • • Onsite audit and verification of systems maintained to ensure food safety, sustainability, and nutritional quality of food
  • • Customer feedback and interviews

Final
Jury evaluation

  • Presentations from finalists and review of management commitment by specialized jury.

    • Compliance to relevant regulatory requirements
    • Evidence of proactive governance mechanisms
  • Food Safety Excellence:
    • Level of maturity in food safety culture
    • Effectiveness of food safety management system
    • Supplier management program
    • Response to emergencies
    • Programs to ensure continual development and employee empowerment and upskilling
  • Nutrition, Sustainability and Social Responsibility:
    • Commitment to nutrition and health programs in Dubai
    • Commitment to food loss and food waste reduction strategies
    • Environmental and social responsibility programs
    • Ethical Practices and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Technology and Innovation:
    • Use of targeted technology tools and solutions to enhance food safety and sustainability
    • Digitalization and data-driven approaches
